MSN Group Help Notes

Before we head to the forum, you should know……

You'll be leaving the official Deliver4Jesus web site and traveling to a site called "Groups.MSN.com/Deliver4Jesus" hosted by MSN (Microsoft Network). I (Pastor Tim) set up this site as a place to share Vision Venture reflections.

To access this site you will need to have or set up an account with MSN, which is free. This is what they call having a "Passport". When you go to the site, this is probably the first thing you will have to do. Once you have a passport, you will be able to re-enter the site directly.

Once you're in the Deliver4Jesus group area, look along the left border for the links labeled "Stories to Share" & Bible Reflections". Click on the discussion area you wish to enter.

At the top of the discussion window there is a menu item called 'View', I like to use the one 'Discussions & Replies'. Although it provides longer list, you get to see any replies that have also been posted. You may rather use 'Discussions Only' once you get use to the navigation.

In the discussion area you can start a new topic (click "New Discussion") or reply to any comment that's already been posted (read the comment and click "Reply" in the shaded box.)

You can navigate the comments using the Next/Previous Message/Discussion phrases above each message.

If you want to see everything, click on discussion group nameat the top of the message area. In this view, you can see which messages you've read and which ones are new. New ones have their titles in bold type.
