With summer just around
the corner, many families are looking for free, fun things to do close to
home.
How are the Children? (http://www.howarethechildren.org),
an initiative of the Suburban Ramsey Family Collaborative, has created a
list of Free and Fun Things to Do with Kids available on the home page of
their website.
Also you can view this PDF document
Free_and_Fun_Things_to_Do_Spring_2010.pdf.
From stargazing to airplanes to building things to making crafts, get some
new ideas of places to go and things to do that appeal to kids on any age.
Try one idea each week or use this list to plan a fun "staycation"
this summer.
The list includes links to all nineteen resources so you can learn more about their hours, directions, etc. The How are the Children? website also has lots of information for parents.
