Window on the Community

 

We’ve been looking for opportunities to hear from people in the community around our church about what’s on their minds and what’s going on in their lives.  So when we held our annual boutique recently, we took that opportunity to do a little survey.  Seventeen people responded and here are their comments – just a little “window” on some of the folks in our community.

 

 

What is the one thing your closest friend needs to improve their life?

 What is the biggest need in the neighborhood that nobody is addressing?

Poor People

More  food bank

School referendum didn't  / extra-curricular

Evangelism - We've got to get out. Watch the driveways and on Sunday note those that don't have tire tracks

Crime

Homelessness

Volunteer for fix-up project

Activities for youth

Prayer

More parental/kids involvement  i.e. coffee time

Children unsupervised

Nice rest. place to eat

Spending other people’s money. Over coming stroke. Maintain a positive attitude.

Surgery, Adenoid
